It’s not every day you get a call inviting you behind the scenes at Apple, so in between Pitti Menswear and Paris Couture, I flew out to Washington, DC to meet Angela Ahrendts – the tech titan’s Senior Vice President of Retail. Having witnessed how she transformed the fortunes of Burberry while she was CEO from 2006-2014, I was fascinated by her ongoing plans to revitalise the future of in-store shopping for the decade ahead.
